The protesting United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) on Thursday responded to the government’s invite for the talks and educated the latter that talks below the current circumstances were moot.
The protesting Front suspect the government of spoiling the atmosphere for talks and thence control it accountable to recreate the atmosphere.
“As the Nepal government has not nevertheless brought its clear opinion regarding the 11-point proposal submitted by the United Democratic Madhesi Front, it is clear that the govt. doesn't want to resolve the matter through talks,” the letter read.
“The so-called initial modification to the Constitution isn't done once associate agreement between protesters and also the government or as per demands of protesters,” the leaders claimed, “but, to create illusions regarding the movement.”
The letter signed by leaders of seven constituents of the Front further suspect Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa, who heads the panel shaped to review boundaries of provinces, of being negative toward republicanism, federalism, proportional inclusion and secularism.
DPM Thapa, who additionally heads the government talks team, had sent an invite to the Front on Sunday for the talks.
“The United Democratic Madhesi Front is always prepared for important and decisive talks,” it maintained.
